A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth - an occurrence that takes place up to five times a year. This seemingly typical event occurs over and over again, normal and unimportant. But this time, it was different. This time, when the eclipse occurred everything changed. One moment, it was just like any other day, any other moment. The next... everything was different. People from all over space and time suddenly appeared on O'ahu. Ripped from their lives, they were dragged to the island nation of Hawaii. Not only that, but some of them were different. Those who had been super-human and supernatural before were now just plain ol' human. Vampires, werewolves, mutants... they had been stripped of what made them different and now they were just human. In the aftermath of this sudden change, the Governor of Hawaii scrambled to figure out what to do with the dozens of new arrivals to her home state. She quickly made the decision to commandeer a hotel in Honolulu, evacuating all residents and providing rooms for those who had suddenly appeared. Unnerved by the event and unsure how to proceed with the dozens of people appearing, she appointed her personal task force - the Hawaii Five-O - to safeguard the hotel and it's residents until an explanation could be found. |
